When it comes to quality, Canada Tech accepts no compromise.
It begins with quality assurance standards that are the toughest in the industry and only achievable through our sophisticated in-house design, engineering and automated manufacturing process. It's backed up with a significant investment in specialized, cutting-edge technology, and it's resulted in many of Canada Tech's tools and instruments raising the industry bar for accuracy, reliability and durability.
Board Assembly
We only use the best materials available, such as tin-silver solder paste that offers high temperature re-flow and superior mechanical strength. All electronic design and manufacturing is completed in-house to ensure quality. Examples of this include our robotic "pick and place" tool that precisely positions extremely small electronic components to our boards and the automated application of soldering paste which allows for a level of consistency simply not possible manually. Finally, all of our boards are conformal coated to protect electronic components from the hostile oil and gas environment

Quality Assurance and Testing
Before any of our gauges reach our customers, they are put through an extremely rigorous quality control program. Prior to final assembly and after a close visual inspection, each board is conformal coated to protect electronic components and then tested under simulated reservoir temperature and pressure conditions to ensure they can stand-up to the harshest operating environment. Boards that pass this test move forward to final assembly and endure 17 hours of further testing to determine if they are worthy for calibration. The three-day calibration process is exhaustive and is the final step that ensures our customers receive the most accurate, durable and reliable temperature and pressure gauges available.
