Cableheads & Splices
Tubewire Cablehead
The Tubewire Cablehead attaches the Permanent Monitoring Tool to the tubewire.
The simple and easy-to-install cablehead is available for both 1/4" and 1/8" OD tubewire sizes. Two Swagelok-type crimping ferrules are used to provide dual metal-to-metal seals between the tubewire and the cablehead. Its dual zone design provides redundant sealing combined with strain relief of the tubewire. A variety of sizes and materials are available to suit any need.
Cable Splices
Canada Tech’s Splices are ideal for connecting tubewire in the wellbore. These splices feature a stackable modular design, where seals can be progressively added to the splice thereby providing redundant seals and increased strain relief. A sealing system of metal-to-metal seals with crimping style ferrules is utilized; no elastomers are used. Splices are available in a variety of NACE approved materials. Splices are available for 1/4" to 1/8", 1/4" to 1/4" and 1/8" to 1/8" tubewiress. Transitional Splices are also available to allow easy transition from 1/8" to 1/4" if the application calls for it. Wire connections are made by crimping a metal jacket between wire ends.
WYE Splices
WYE Splices are ideal for connecting multiple SRO (Surface Read-Out) tools. The tubing WYE block is designed as a plug-and-play device.
Canada Tech offers varying designs to fit the application and ability to add up to 4 downhole tools on one line.
